IWC built the case of this watch in c. 1974 at the same they were building their famous Ingenieur line and with equipped it with the same movement. These dress watches are more elegant than the pragmatic Ingenieur but share similar high-performance timekeeping qualities in normal wearing conditions. And compared to an Ingenieur, because they do not have a second inner back, the cases are thinner and lighter on the wrist.

At 36mm in diameter, it is the same size as a Rolex Datejust.

It is in beautiful original condition. The untouched dial is mint. It doesn't seem to appear to have been polished, or if so very lightly.

The parts are 100% original as it left the factory.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance.
